About Watercolour Doodle Art is a mixed visual practice that combines the fluid softness of watercolour with the clarity and charm of doodle-based line drawing. It encourages creativity through colour harmony, expressive mark-making and decorative illustration, making it an engaging activity for learners of different artistic levels.
In this Watercolour Doodle Art Workshop, participants will be introduced to watercolour handling, wash techniques, basic brush control, colour blending, doodle motifs, floral illustration, pattern development and compositional arrangement. They will learn how to build artworks through the interaction of transparent colour fields and fine pen or outline detailing. The process supports the development of observation, creative thinking, hand control and a stronger sense of visual design.
Designed by Himanshu Art Institute, this Watercolour Doodle Art workshop for teens and adults helps participants explore a gentle, expressive and decorative art form while building both artistic confidence and creativity.
