About Warli Painting is a traditional visual language of Indian tribal art that transforms everyday life, movement and nature into rhythmic and symbolic compositions. Known for its linear structure, geometric forms and earthy visual identity, Warli art holds both aesthetic and cultural value.
In this Warli Painting Workshop, participants will be introduced to the origin, style and basic structure of Warli art. They will learn to create compositions using traditional motifs such as human figures, dancers, village scenes, animals, birds, trees and ceremonial elements. The workshop also focuses on pattern arrangement, space handling and the decorative simplicity that defines the Warli style.
