About String Art is a decorative craft practice that combines structure, pattern, colour and hand coordination. By using threads wrapped around nails on a wooden or MDF base, participants can create visually engaging artworks with geometric rhythm and colourful surface design.
In this String Art Workshop, participants will be introduced to base preparation, design planning, nail positioning, thread movement, colour arrangement and finishing methods. They will learn how to create shapes, letters, symbols, geometric compositions, floral forms and decorative patterns while understanding balance, spacing and visual clarity. The session helps participants explore how simple materials can be used to create refined and attractive handmade artworks.
Designed by Himanshu Art Institute, this craft workshop for teens and adults helps participants develop creativity, patience, design understanding and confidence through an engaging hands-on string art activity.
