About Pot Painting is a decorative surface painting practice that combines colour application, motif development, texture and handcrafted presentation. It allows participants to convert plain pots into visually appealing art objects suitable for indoor décor, garden spaces and creative display.
In this Pot Painting Workshop, participants will be introduced to surface preparation, base coating, brush techniques, colour planning, motif drawing, texture creation and finishing methods. They will explore traditional and contemporary design styles such as Warli, Gond, Madhubani, Tribal patterns, floral motifs, geometric arrangements and modern decorative compositions. The session helps participants understand how design, colour and surface treatment can enhance a simple object.
