About Mandala Art with Pen Work is a structured decorative drawing practice that combines symmetry, pattern repetition, line quality and compositional balance. Its visual appeal lies in the rhythmic arrangement of motifs, fine detailing and the meditative process of building a design from the centre outward.
In this Mandala Art with Pen Work Workshop, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of mandala structure, circle planning, radial division, motif development, pen control and surface detailing. They will learn how to construct layered mandala patterns using dots, petals, curves, leaves, geometric units and ornamental fillers while maintaining proportion and visual harmony. The session may also include black pen work, coloured liner techniques and finishing methods for creating refined mandala compositions.
Designed by Himanshu Art Institute, this mandala drawing workshop for teens and adults helps participants develop focus, design sensitivity, hand control and creative confidence while exploring an elegant and mindful art practice.
