About Jesmonite Craft is a contemporary material-based craft practice that combines product design, colour application and surface finishing. Known for its refined texture and stone-like appearance, Jesmonite allows participants to create elegant, handmade objects with modern decorative appeal.
In this Jesmonite Craft Workshop, participants will be introduced to material preparation, proportion mixing, pigment blending, mould usage, pouring methods, demoulding, sanding and finishing techniques. They will explore visual effects such as marble finish, terrazzo patterns, colour layering and minimal surface design while creating products such as coasters, trays, bowls, plates, decorative bases or functional craft objects.
Designed by Himanshu Art Institute, this craft workshop for teens and adults helps participants develop material understanding, design sense and creative confidence through a hands-on product-making experience.
