About Fabric Painting is a surface design technique that allows participants to create artistic patterns, motifs and illustrations on textile surfaces. It combines painting skills with fabric decoration, making it a valuable creative practice for wearable art, textile design and handmade products.
In this Fabric Painting Workshop, participants will be introduced to fabric paints, brush handling, surface preparation, design transfer, colour application, outlining, shading, detailing and finishing methods. They will learn how to create floral designs, decorative patterns, borders, motifs and modern compositions on fabric surfaces such as T-shirts, bags, garments, dupattas, jeans or home décor textiles.
