About Clay Modeling is an important sculptural practice that helps learners understand form, volume, structure and three-dimensional composition. Working with clay allows participants to explore both realistic and creative forms through direct hand-building techniques.
In this Clay Modeling Workshop, participants will be introduced to clay preparation, hand-building methods, shaping, joining, carving, surface texture, proportion and finishing techniques. They will learn how to develop simple objects, figurative forms, animal studies, decorative pieces or small sculptural compositions with attention to balance and detail.
Designed by Himanshu Art Institute, this workshop helps teens and adults develop observation, hand control, creative thinking and basic sculpting skills through an engaging practical session.
