We at TALWAR FOUNDATION had organized its Summer Camp Umang which included an Art and Craft Workshop in collaboration with Himanshu Art Institute for the girls of St. Hostel, Jangpura from 1st June to 22nd June. The aim of this program was to impart art and craft classes to these children to recognize, interpret and for early exposure to visual art, craft, etc. to promote activity in the brain. The Art and Craft classes offer the opportunity and help them to broaden their educational experience.
We are very thankful to the members of Himanshu Art Institute who imparted the training so Well that the children who are inclined to Arts and Craft were excelled to another higher level and the girls who were not at all interested in any type of art, started taking interest in the art and craft activity. Through their Way of imparting classes, it engaged children in a process that aids in the development of self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation, and self-motivation. Participating in such art activities helped the children to gain the tools necessary for understanding human experience, adapting to and respecting others' Ways of Working and thinking, developing creative problem-solving skills, and communicating thoughts and ideas in a variety of ways. The girls of St. Michael's Girl's hostel enjoyed this Art and Craft Workshop a lot and learned a lot of things like Freehand drawing, Acrylic Painting, Calligraphy Work, Bread Craft, Relief work and smoke painting, etc.
We are very thankful to the Himanshu Art Institute and look forward to working with them in the future too.
Thanking You
